2011 Chesley Award Winners

Chesley Awards ar given by the ASFA – Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists. Each year the Association select the best works from its members and give them an award “to recognize individual works and achievements not otherwise recognized by the Hugo Awards, during a given year”. Chesly Awards story starts 26 years ag and the they were inizially named ASFA Awards, but after Chesley Bonestell‘ death in 1986, they took his name in his honor.
The Chesley are considered in the world as the most prestigious awards for a fantasy artisti. They are nominated and decided upon the member of the association itself.
Wacom announces INKLING, for paper sketching

Wacom, the leader of digital tablet, announces a new product that will help artists to create art: Inkling. It is a special pen that you can use to sketch your drawings on paper; at the same time Inkling captures your sketch and makes it digital for you. So you can easily transfer your sketch on your computer and edit them in photoshop or other softwares as vector graphic. It’s great right?
