With this new article series I’m going to start a new series of weekly articles with a selections of the most outstanding Artworks I will find browsing the web!
In this week’s collection we have 2d Illustration by Marta Dahlig, Meirou, Jana Schirmer, Algenpfleger and Sara Biddle.
Judith by Marta Dahlig
Judith by Marta Dahlig is a stunning piece of digital painting; the details of the fabric of the carpets are absolutely studied and realistic, and the pose of the woman complete the correct composition of the image; this also reflect a study of the anatomy and a research for references.
Ariel and Flounder irl by Meirou
This is another piece of Digital Painting which impressed me a lot, especially when I realized they were Disney’s Ariel and Flounder painted in a realistic way! I really love the way she moves her hairs to simulate the undersea ambient. Meirou is working at a great series of digital painting dedicated to Disney’s characters in real life.
Good vs Evil by Jana Schirmer and Algenpfleger
This is a really genial piece by Jana Schirmer and Algenpfleger. It has been done to join a famous contest with the theme Good and Evil.
Hour of Succession by Sara Biddle
I really like this portrait by Sara Biddle, the expression of the girl revelas great responsability, the richness of her jewlrey shows that she’s a noble.
