Roger Meddos Taylor was bor on the 26th July 1949, at the West Norfolk and King's Lynn Hospital in King's Lynn, Norfolk.
He attends the Gaywood Primary School in King's Lynn and the Bosvigo School in Truro, Cornwall.
When he was eight, he decided to start plalying the guitar, and he started his studies with an ukulele. After he learned some basic chords, he decided to form a group to make money with his music. So he create the Bubblingover Boys, a group which lived for a short time. Infact, in May 1960, Roger leave the group to attend the Truro Cathedral School. He joined the cathedral choir and started singing three times every Sunday.
Then he found himself attracted by percussions. He started learning drums and, from 1963, he joined different music bands like the Cousin Jacks, the Jhonny Quale and the Reaction. In 1966 Roger and the Reaction won the Rock and Rhythm Championship in Truro city hall.
However Roger continued his studies and got seven O levels in English language, English literature, physics, biology, chemistry, math and Frech. So he started his career as a dentist.
But in 1968 Roger went back to London and to university. He contacted a boy, who was looking for a drummer and pinned an announcement to the Imperial College noticeboard. And so he met Brian May.
They started to play together, and then they met Freddie Mercury. They form a music band called Queen...
